No one can pronounce my name, so I made this app

Ever checked in to a restaurant, office reception or hotel and had to give your name?

If you have a long, uncommon name like me that's difficult to pronounce (thanks mum!) this can be awkward #iykyk

Spelling it out phonetically ("F for Foxtrot, S for Sierra") sometimes works but is slow and painful.

I used to hand over my ID, but don't carry cards anymore.

So I built an app (called Flash Text!) to quickly flash up my name in big block letters!

You can customize the colors but besides that, that's all it does!

Its linked to shortcuts so super quick to open from the lock screen, action button or double tap the back of the phone.

PS. some other (unforeseen) use cases - a digital Medical Alert or Condition Card (like the Joker on the bus), and in noisy bars to one-tap send a message (or a number) without fumbling around on their phones 😄
